The Role
As a Creative DTP Operator, you will be responsible for designing and shaping our retail packaging for creative toys and crafts for adults. Your designs will be seen on the shelves of well-known discount and retail chains throughout Europe. Of course, your designs are of high quality, but more importantly, you understand that your work must make our products shine. You can handle tight deadlines and last-minute changes efficiently.
What will you do?
- Create packaging designs and in-house mock-ups to support sales.
- Deliver print-ready artwork using your technical DTP knowledge.
- Translate briefings into creative and effective designs.
- Stay up to date with market trends and translate them into new product ideas or improvements to existing products.
- Decorate and manage the signage for our showroom to create a professional and inspiring look.
You will be part of our enthusiastic team of three sales/product developers. Together, we form a creative, dynamic, and collegial team where collaboration and teamwork are central. With us, you will have the space to let your creativity flourish and make a valuable contribution to our innovative projects.
Who we are?
For over 30 years, we have been a leading importer/wholesaler of creative toys for children and craft & hobby supplies for adults.
Our assortment consists of a wide and diverse range of hobby, craft, and painting materials, as well as creative and educational toys and games—perfect for solo fun or with friends and family. Our products are sold B2B, directly in the retail market, and through online channels across Europe and beyond.
In recent years, we have grown rapidly and have built a motivated, professional, and collegial team that works daily with our products and assortment. Our office in Hedel currently has over 90 employees. In short, a vibrant organization with dedicated and creative team members.
What do you bring?
- Completed MBO/HBO education in Graphic Design.
- Several years of relevant experience in Packaging & Design.
- Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is an absolute must.
- Good command of the English language.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Creativity and passion for your work.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- An eye for detail.
- An organized working style.
- Flexibility.
- Availability of 24-32 hours per week.
