QA/QC Employee

Would you like to help ensure that our products meet the required quality standards, legislation and regulations, as well as our customers' expectations? Do you enjoy working with product quality, testing, inspections and documentation, while collaborating with different departments and suppliers?

Full-time, 38 hours per week | Location: Hedel, the Netherlands

Are you detail-oriented, quality-focused and quick to spot when something isn’t quite right?

Would you like to help ensure that our products meet the required quality standards, legislation and regulations, as well as our customers’ expectations? Do you enjoy working with product quality, testing, inspections and documentation, while collaborating with different departments and suppliers?

Then we are looking for you!

As a QA/QC Employee at CCG in Hedel, you will be part of the QA/QC team and contribute to ensuring the quality and safety of our products. You will be involved throughout the entire process: from product development and reviewing documentation to testing, inspections and the final delivery to our customers.

You will work closely with colleagues from Purchasing, Product Development and Sales, as well as with our suppliers and international colleagues. No two days are the same, and you will have plenty of opportunities to further develop yourself within the field of Quality Assurance & Quality Control.

What will you be doing?

In this varied role, you will contribute to monitoring and improving the quality, safety and compliance of our products. You will be responsible for your own product categories and follow them from a QA/QC perspective throughout the entire process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and collecting product and quality documentation, such as Bills of Materials (BOM), Bills of Substances (BOS) and Declarations of Conformity (DoC).
  • Creating, reviewing and maintaining up-to-date product files.
  • Preparing order briefings and ensuring that the correct warnings, logos and other mandatory product information are applied.
  • Checking and assessing product and production samples.
  • Verifying that products comply with relevant legislation and regulations, customer requirements and safety standards.
  • Arranging product testing with external testing laboratories and reviewing the associated test reports.
  • Preparing and maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS).
  • Coordinating and following up on quality inspections at production sites.
  • Arranging and assessing inspections and following up on any deviations and corrective actions.
  • Registering, investigating and following up on quality issues.
  • Supporting the handling of complaints, product deviations and potential recalls.
  • Maintaining contact with suppliers, testing laboratories and colleagues in the Netherlands and abroad regarding quality-related matters.
  • Contributing ideas to improve and make our QA/QC processes more efficient.
  • Monitoring the quality of the product categories for which you are responsible.

Who are you?

You are someone who works accurately, enjoys investigating things and does not simply settle for “it will probably be fine.” You are not afraid to ask questions when something does not seem right and enjoy working together with colleagues to find the best solution.

In addition:

  • You have at least an MBO+/HBO level of education and thinking, preferably in a technical, laboratory, quality-related or product-focused field.
  • Experience in QA/QC, product quality, a trading organisation or a testing/inspection agency is an advantage, but not essential.
  • You have an affinity with product safety, quality and legislation and regulations.
  • You work accurately and in a structured manner and are comfortable working with documentation and various systems.
  • You have strong analytical and communication skills.
  • You are able to work independently but also actively seek collaboration with others.
  • You take responsibility for your work and are willing to take action when you identify deviations.
  • You have a good command of both Dutch and English.

Don’t have all the required knowledge yet? No problem. What matters most to us is that you are curious, eager to learn and motivated to further develop yourself within QA/QC. Within our team, you will have the opportunity to continuously expand your knowledge and take on increasing responsibility.

What do we offer?

  • A varied QA/QC position at CCG in Hedel.
  • A role in which you are directly involved with our products, suppliers and customers.
  • Plenty of opportunities to further develop yourself in the areas of quality, product safety and compliance.
  • Responsibility for your own product categories.
  • A dynamic and growing organisation where you are encouraged to share ideas and contribute to improvements.
  • An informal, collaborative and professional working environment.
  • A competitive salary and attractive secondary employment benefits.
  • A pension scheme.
  • A laptop and all the tools you need to do your job effectively.
  • 28 days of annual leave.
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre.
  • The possibility of hybrid working in accordance with CCG’s internal arrangements.
  • Initially, we offer a fixed-term employment contract, with the intention of building a long-term working relationship.
