Vacancy (Junior) buyer

We are looking for a Junior Buyer. As a Junior Buyer, you contribute to the success of the purchasing department because you can organise well and are a tackler. Are you commercial and good at negotiating? Then we are looking for you!

The Role

As a Junior Buyer, you will be given a lot of responsibility with room for your own input. You enjoy brainstorming new items and are skilled at negotiating. You are well-organized and commercially savvy. Additionally, you are proactive and remain level-headed under pressure.

You will join a team of enthusiastic colleagues in a flat and informal company culture. As a junior buyer, you will work together with other buyers to manage the entire purchasing process within CCG.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Placing purchase orders.
  • Entering orders into our ERP system, Navision, and keeping track of changes.
  • Requesting and negotiating prices.
  • Monitoring orders and adjusting for discrepancies.
  • Coordinating and handing over orders to our logistics department.
  • Obtaining and evaluating product samples.
  • Communication with suppliers (mainly China) both in writing and over the phone.
  • Creating cost price calculations.
  • Assisting the Senior Buyer with related tasks.

What do you bring?

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education.
  • Proficiency in digital skills and familiarity with an ERP system.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Dutch and English.
  • Enthusiasm, commercial acumen, and strong numerical skills.
  • Several years of relevant work experience.
  • Some relevant experience with the Far East is advantageous.
