Quality & Safety

Sustainability Initiatives
We are FSC®-certified (FSC® C159684) and have aligned our operations accordingly. We undergo an annual audit and aim to source all our wood- and paper-based products and packaging as FSC-certified.
In addition, we are PEFC-certified (PEFC/30-32-893) and can provide PEFC-certified products upon request. We hold a valid PEFC-certificate and are audited annually to maintain this certification.
We continuously strive to further improve the sustainability of our products and packaging. We are GRS-certified (GRS CB-CUC-1217914) by Control Union and are also audited annually fort his certification. Where applicable, we use GRS-certified components to increase the share of recycled materials in our products and packaging.
Building on this, we are actively reducing the use of plastic in our packaging by replacing it with paper wherever possible. In doing so, we aim to decrease plastic usage and further enhance the sustainability of our packaging.
Lastly, we are a member of BCI and aim to source BCI cotton for our cotton products.
Fair Working Conditions & Transparency
We have been a member of Amfori since 2009 and, as of 2025, are also affiliated with Sedex. We request our production partners in high-risk countries to provide a social audit report (BSCI or SMETA-4) to gain insight into and monitor the key social and working conditions at production sites, including fair remuneration, occupational health and safety, and the prevention of exploitation and child labour.
CO2-Footprint
In addition to social topics, we aim to gain insight into the environmental impact within our supply chain. We have our CO2 footprint calculated each year to assess our environmental impact. We also participate in the BEPI program of Amfori to gain insight into and monitor the environmental performance of our production partners, including areas such as energy and water consumption, waste and chemical management and climate impact.
Within our own organization, we also take measures to reduce our CO2 footprint. For example, our headquarter in Hedel is equipped with solar panels and have an EU energy efficiency label A+.
