At the moment, we still work from our office in Andelst, but at the end of the year, we will move to Hedel.
The role: As a creative DTP specialist, you are responsible for designing and shaping our retail packaging for creative toys and crafts for adults. You will see these directly on the shelves of well-known discount and retail chains and online retailers throughout Europe. Of course, your designs are of high quality, but more importantly, you understand that your work must make our products shine. You are able to handle tight deadlines and last-minute changes.
What will you do?
- Deliver print-ready artwork (technical DTP knowledge).
- Setting up packaging.
- Thinking about the shape and size of packaging to best showcase the product.
- Translate customer briefings into design.
- Creating in-house mock-ups for fairs, showrooms, and sales.
- Knowing and following developments in the market and being able to translate them into new products or improvements to existing products.

For over 30 years, we have been a leading importer/wholesaler in the field of creative toys for children and arts & crafts articles for adults. Our range consists of a wide and diverse selection of hobby, craft, and painting supplies, creative and educational toys, and games for every individual, for entertainment alone or with friends and family. Our office in Hedel currently has over 65 employees. In short, a vibrant organization with driven and creative employees.
TM Essentials BV, with over 20 employees, has recently become part of our organization. Until the end of the year, they are based in Andelst and are the owner of the brands Totum – Bambolino Toys and Funny Products. These brands have a leading position in licensed children’s craft products, baby and pre-school toys, stickers, and tattoos.
What do you bring?
- Completed MBO/HBO Graphic Design degree.
- Several years of relevant work experience as a DTP specialist.
- Good knowledge of Illustrator is an absolute must
- Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign is an advantage
- Experience with packaging layout is a must
- A good sense of typography and design
- Good command of the English language
- Good communication skills and problem-solving ability
- Creative with a passion for your work
- Independent and proactive
- You have an eye for detail
- You work in an organized manner
- You are available for at least 32/38 hours per week
