The role

As a graphic designer, you will be responsible for designing and shaping our retail packaging for creative toys and crafts for adults. Your designs will be featured on the shelves of well-known discount and retail chains and online retailers across Europe. While maintaining high-quality designs, it is crucial that you understand your work should make our products stand out. You should be adept at handling tight deadlines and last-minute changes.

  • What will you do?
  • Provide print-ready artwork (technical DTP knowledge).
  • Translate customer briefings into design.
  • Create in-house mock-ups for trade shows, showrooms, and sales.
  • Stay informed about market trends and be able to translate them into new products or improvements to existing ones.

Our studio consists of a studio manager, 12 designers, and 1 photographer—a creative and collegial team that values teamwork highly.

For over 30 years, we have been a leading importer/wholesaler in the field of creative toys for children and craft & hobby items for adults. Our assortment includes a wide and diverse range of hobby, craft, and painting supplies, as well as creative and educational toys and games for individuals, for solo entertainment or with friends and family. Our products are sold B2B, directly to the retail market, and through online channels throughout Europe and beyond. In recent years, we have grown rapidly, fostering a motivated, professional, and collegial team working daily with our products and assortment. Our office in Hedel currently employs over 65 staff members—a vibrant organization with dedicated and creative employees.

What do you bring?

  • Completed MBO/HBO education in Graphic Design.
  • Several years of relevant experience in Packaging & Design.
  • Strong proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a must.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Effective communication skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Creative with a passion for your work.
  • Independent and proactive.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Organized working style.
  • Available for a minimum of 32/38 hours per week.
